How It Works

WindLinx reduces your ipack set up to five easy steps. Gone is the confusion of multiple service providers and lost information.

 

GSM iPack project site process after WindLinx

  1. Submit iPack activation form / service contract online, including email address of where data is to be sent
  2. Receive account confirmation within 24 hours which will allow you to download your SDR *.ipk configuration file to load into your iPack
  3. Load *.ipk file into iPack with SDR software
  4. Install iPack at project site, make test call
  5. Receive and pay ONE monthly bill

GSM iPack project site process before WindLinx

  1. Research and find Cellular Provider in project site area and establish account based on Electronic Serial Number (IMEI) of modem
  2. Find Internet Provider in project site area and establish account
  3. Open up iPack and install GSM SIM card, often not in ideal conditions
  4. Obtain E-Mail server information from internet provider (not all servers are compatible, which is not obvious)
  5. Obtain SIM card from cellular provider to install into GSM iPack
  6. Using computer and NRG Systems’ SDR software, build *.ipk configuration file based on settings from cellular provider (APN) and internet provider (E-Mail)
  7. Load *.ipk file into iPack with SDR software
  8. Install iPack at project site, make test call
  9. Receive and pay monthly bills from up to several cellular and internet providers
